In riferimento al documento Ruocco (2007) riportato su questa pagina fino al 15 Marzo 2009, è da precisare che la commissione IEEE nell'articolo di ricerca:

"Fabrikant, S. I., Montello, D. R., and Mark, D. M. (2006). The Distance- Similarity Metaphor in Region-Display Spatializations, IEEE Computer Graphics & Application, July/August 2006: 34-44."

non ha ravvisato motivi di plagio rispetto a quanto sostenuto da Ruocco. Pertanto tali affermazioni vengono ritirate integralmente. Ci scusiamo inoltre per il trattamento scorretto riservato a Dr. Fabrikant e a Dr. Montello nel documento citato sopra che non metteva in giusta luce l'operato degli autori.
