Features

  • loads 2D images up to 4000x4000 pixels in size;
  • BMP, JPG, PCX, PPM, or TGA image formats are supported;
  • virtual camera details and functionality:
    • works in image coordinates
    • panning by any extent
    • rotation by any degree (e.g. -43 degrees)
    • zoom by any extent
  • scripting system details:
    • the script specifying the camera operations is in simple text format
    • the movement is defined by keyframes called "vistas", while "transitions" are automatically computed
    • you can specify the length of transitions (in number of frames) as well as the frame speed (in milliseconds)
    • presentations with multiple images are supported using a master text script
    • support for looping presentations of virtually unlimited duration
  • multimedia features:
    • music support (Ogg Vorbis format)
    • sound/speech support (WAV format)
    • music and sound are on two independent channels
    • music and sound are defined at script level and start with millisecond precision
Requirements
  • ProspectV works under the MS Windows (XP or 2000) operating system
  • Pentium II processor is the minimum. Faster PCs reduce start-up time and between-pictures transitions. Dual core processors are correctly exploited.
  • OpenGL support and a sufficient amount of video RAM is necessary in order to start
    • for 1000x1000 pixels images: 32Mb of VRAM
    • for 4000x4000 pixels images: 512Mb of VRAM
