| Earth Asylo
and Planetary Asylo [2007] - 10+10 minutes
Made for a short course
offered by MRU about the Earth and the Planets [see details],
the movies utilize state-of-the-art software
and data, and a very short time frame for their making.
Earth Asylo (see on the
right) employs topographical data obtained from the Shuttle
Radar Topography Mission, and it also visualizes the Como
and Garda Lakes in Northern Italy with visual continuity.
Planetary Asylo (first
part and second
part) shows instead unusual perspectives of the surface
of Mars, Venus and The Moon, obtained from real-world data
from NASA sources.
