Asylum

The Asylum project saw MRU volounteering in an education effort offered to a local pre-school institution where young children (from 3 to 5 years old) were starting exploring Earth and the Cosmos in games, pictures, videos and a great deal imagination.

MRU produced for them two movies animating the surface of the Earth and of many planets of the Solar System, and gave a two-session presentation using third-party software as an Atlas of the Solar System (Celestia), a sky simulator (Stellarium), and a flight simulator. The visual content was projected on a 3x3 meters wall, and all the children could interact with the "captain of the airplane" suggesting what planet to look at, where to fly, etc.

While the original videos can be downloaded from here, find below all the drawings made by those children after their exposure to that exciting visual content.
